I have a 2002 Sport Trac and I'm redoing some of the interior to a more metallic silver instead of the darker silver they have on the door handles, center console (cup part), radio bezel, and the Dash Cowl and stuff.. The only thing left in my truck to get till I get it the way I want is the face of the a.c climate control. It's still that darker silver and I ask the ford dealership if other AC climate controls would fit in there, they gave me a vague answer that went along the lines of "i'm not sure"
I want to get the insert Black with white accents like in rangers and stuff.
Question does other explorers and stuff use the same AC climate control so I can purchase one and swap them out, or does anyone know where I can buy a panel insert that basically lays over the existing color? I have seen some for mustangs but they are silver and such.
