This is about a 2000EB with 65K miles. I'd appreciate if you all can tell me enough to look reasonably smart when I bring this to my repair shop so I don't get hosed with unnecessary work done. Evaporator and compressor replaced in 2003 under warranty. Current problem is that A/C reaches cold (not "ice" cold) with engine at idle in one to two minutes with 78 degree ambient. When idling up to 1500-2000 rpm, air warms up and gets to blowing ambient air in a couple of minutes. The same thing happens when car is in motion. Their first cut at the problem a month ago was to add refrigerant since it was one-third down. This had no effect on the problem. Let me know. Thanks.
