Hi All...

Several years ago, this forum helped me with my blend door problem - the large center one. The tab had broken (as is common) and got great help here on how to DIY a fix. All's been good until a couple of days ago. Now the A/C is blowing cold on the passenger side vents (round one by the door and center/right), but the center/left and round one near driver's door is blowing hot. I know there's other blend doors in the vehicle and actuators. Anyone know/have a guess as to where to start? Standard manual controls and standard rear air controls overhead.

Thanks.

I had a problem like yours and it turned out to be a weak compressor. I had a new compressor installed a couple of years ago and haven't had the problem since. It isn't hard to check for a weak compressor.

If it's anything like my wife's mercury you have a actuator on the driver's and passenger side if you have dual zone temp control. Along with one for vent floor window etc then also 2 more in the rear if you have rear ac. Defrost not window lol

I have the same issue with my 2007 Eplorer with basic control. 10-15 degrees warmer on driver’s side. Did you ever find a solution.
