Just bought a 97 explorer - the a/c blows very well but not cold at all. Does this mean that I have to have it recharged?
 






More than likely you do not have an adequate charge for the compressor to run and hence the AC is not working. Fronm your question, I would assume you have no experience and would suggest you have an AC shop take a peek. I'm betting it may just be a low or absent charge state.
