2000 explorer with A/C problems. The a/c blows cold air when sitting at idle, when you rev up the engine or drive the vehicle the air gets hot....i had the freon checked and the pressures were fine, could this be a vacuum issue?????

A/C info

I personally don't know the answer, but while you are waiting for a response from a more knowledgeable member you can check the "Under the hood" forum. There may be a solution there. Just go to the top of the forum page, click forums and scroll down to "under the hood". Hope this helps.

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the A/C & heater section. Check the blend door, vacuum lines, and the freon. Don't trust a shop to tell you that it's fine when there is an obvious issue. Connect a manifold gauge set, and check the pressure yourself. Does the compressor clutch constantly cycle?
