well i have been searching, and i do read, but this concept of all the different types of sas just isnt clicking for me. I have searched and i couldnt find a thread that mimicks this: http://www.carbibles.com/suspension_bible.html but in relation to how we do our sas setups on this site. I am starting to learn more and more, and i am narrowing it down, but i really think that if we made a sticky replicating that website of the different combinations, with who has them, with the components listed under each diagram, that will be one of the most useful tools, instead of being told to search all the time.

I have no problem doing the research, piecing it all together, and makign the thread, i just need someone who can get make the drawings very similar to those on that website, but for our use.

So my request is that someone makes the drawings and posts them here of different sas setups, coils, steering types, all the majorly used setups and i will research all of the components, and do the rest. Thank you.

you can do that with any 3D based software aka Solidworks, Solidedge

theres a simple three link in autocad (not done by me)

I do a little bit of Alias|Wavefront Maya and 3d-Studio MAX - I"ll be happy to help if I find some time. These two programs are geared more towards presentation (i.e. movie animations) so they render and model better than the CAD applications.

I'll help you out -- lets start with one suspension design.
Name one, I'll model it and I'll upload a few renderings.

what i am gonna do is go through all the sas registry, write out who has what, group it and go from there. It might take me a day or so. Thank you for your help, i will get back to you tomorrow with one, then we can go from there.
