I just want to start off by stating this is not my idea, I saw this in a magazine and was thinking that maybe this concept could work with D35 or 44 TTB parts. My drafting skills are a little lacking so be kind. I just thought what a great way to increase ground clearance and having a solid axle. The axle shafts from the TTB would be used so there would be little guess work as far as the axle housing lengths are concerned. It would use the nuckles, spindles and everything else from the original TTB housing.

There is only one u joint on the driverside axle in a TTB so you would have to add another Ujoint to it to make it possible. Now being practical would be another thing. Then you need to get your steering higher so it isnt the lowest thing which leads to more problems cause it woul dbe hard to histeer a dana 35 knuckle.

These guys had a better idea. What a ride.

Well I forgot about the other shaft only having one U-joint :banghead: Well back to the drawing board. Anyway I found the link from the add. These axles look cool.
