A few Q's

Ok so I've bin gathering everything needed to do the 5 speed swap, but my aode is giving out and the last thing I need is the tune. My Q is is there a way I can fool the ecu till I can get the tune done? I need to get the new trans in ASAP but it will take me a bit to pull the money together for the tune. I do have to drive it to work every day.


I have bin searching but no luck on an answer.

I think it will run but it will probably set off codes and go into limp mode

Lol I think it already has my gas mileage has dropped drastically this week. What about making it think it's in neutral and cut the speed sensor wire to the ecu.
