I have a couple of questions on the Seafoam concept. Back in the day, when detergent oil came out, we learned not to migrate an older engine from non-detergent to detergent because it loosened up the rings, guides, etc...
My x doesn't knock, idles ok, so if I did this, it would be a kind of pro-active thing. Well, if you knew me, this is my danger zone.... trying to fix something that isn't broken. I don't even know if there was a question in there... is this something people do as preventative maintenance?
Question 2 is easier, I think: Seafoam is now available in a pressurized can with a bent up nozzle to snake down in front of the throttle body, exactly for this purpose. It seems perfect, it would address all the cylinders in one step. Anyone done this yet?
