I just bought a '91 Explorer yesterday! I'm stoked about the new car! One thing I had not noticed because you can't hear it if your driving is this high pitched (almost like a beep) tone that comes from the undercarriage (it sounds like it's from there to me). I thought it was by the back driver side tire, but as I proceeded to listen on forward it sounded more like it was from somewhere underneath the cab. It seriously sounds like maybe a prolongued error beep... but surely it wouldn't something like that (meaning electronic) from under there, would it? Any ideas? Only happens when engine running. Any ideas would be awesome!
