a little help please

well my new to me 2002 explorer sport is giving me fits. when i bought it, the wipers power windows and the radio worked. well i didn't like the way the old owner installed the radio, it would slide in and out. it would also stay on after you got out if you didn't turn it off. i took the radio out and found that they had the 12 volt and the acc. wired together from the wiring harness adapter to the radio. well i redid the install wiring it like it should be now i have no radio turn on( have power as the cd will eject) no wipers and no power windows. my question is could this be the acc. delay relay or gem? if it is the relay that would be cheaper and easier then the gem to find

i found the problem after talking to me uncle for a couple hours and him looking at the wiring diagrams that he has we found that the gem was not getting any power. the radio and the gem both get the acc. power from the same fuse. the wiring right by the fuse panel had been cut so no power repaired the wire and everything now works!!!!
