I came up on a ditch like that once. OOPS, it was 3' deep. A whole lot of digging, 2 broken straps, and 3 different pulling trucks later, I was out. From now on, I stick a stick in it first, on let someone else go first.
When the Explorer isn't my daily driver I'll definitely go muds, even thought about procomps this time but my dad got me a good price on the BFG ATs. They have actually surprised me in the stuff we have around here. I'm up in Maine, sorry no where near Colorado. We got about an inch of snow tonight if you can believe it, really sucks, I'm ready for summer.
Bryd, nice job gettin it muddy. You gotta check out the thread by 95xlt. He said he totally launched it off a dune and busted a windshield, airbags, bumper, fenders, a ball joint, and a ton of stuff. I wanna see some pics of that.
You could always save up for a set of MT's and wheels then you could switch out your tires and wheels to go play in the mud. Does look like alot of fun.
Ray, thats actually, not a bad idea. I'm getting some new wheels this summer I think, somebody at my school is selling 15x8 polished Atlas' for 300 and I'm looking at them this weekend. Does anyone know the backspacing American Racing uses on its 15x8s. I could get my BFGs put on them and get some cheap 33x9.5 mudders on my old wheels....the cogs are turning.
