A4LD Rebuild

I was wondering if anyone out there has had any experience on rebuilding an A4LD transmission. I've ordered a heavy duty rebuild kit and a new torque converter with kevlar facing and fully brazed fins. Are there any online tech sites, articles or how to's. Does anybody know makes a good repair manual on either just the tranny or the whole truck including a section on rebuilding the tranny? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

is the only page on the net i've found with a rebuild manual on the transmission, but were are you finding all the different hard parts as well as the rebuild kits?

There is a manual for the A4LD on E-bay. Just do a search for A4LD. Good Luck and let us know how it goes.
