A4LD Super Size Performance Servo

Has anyone used the so called Super Size Performance Servos?

I've searched and seen these advertised on a few sites, but I've not seen a post about them here. Looks like they are about 5x the cost of stock replacements.

This just happens to be ebay, I don't know the seller. I thought I'd get some opinions here before i bite.

Before I was smart I fell for this and they sent the wrong servo caps.

What they are selling for 29.00 is a "ZC" Servo piston and a matching "ZC" cap first used in the 5R55E but useable in the A4LD. You can buy them at www.transmissionpartsusa.com for about $17 instead of the rip off price of $29 at PATCO.

They are listed on the website as:

servo pistion 23953A (ZC-2.314) $9.52
servo cover 23970AG (CZ 2.314) $7.12

and you will need an O-ring seal for the cap:

servo cover o-ring 23264A $.55

Move the AB servo from the OD to the intermediate, re-use the cap and buy a new AB servo piston. Then you have the best possible setup.

A follow up. The smart prey on the less smart. You saw that you can buy the ZC servo piston for $9.52? Try this E-bay site for the SAME thing:

[OPINION FOLLOWS] CAN you say totally ripped off? These guys in the E-Bay ad (CT) are sellers selling way outside the realm of reason and they appear to prey on folks that do not KNOW the price of stuff. I always see them in what to my eye and brain appears to be way out of bounds, price wise. They appear to perform well on delivery though (based on feedback), so if you value reliable delivery maybe their outrageous prices can be justified. (end public opinion section)

Now, that said, and as much as I like Transmissionparts USA, I dislike their shipping policy. They overcharge a little for shipping apparently I assume to make up for their low prices, so if you are buying ONE thing, they are not as cheap as they might appear once you factor in shipping. I am always keeping my eyes open and as I find better places I will let you know. TransmissionParts USA's website is one of the best in the business though. A model of how it OUGHT to be done.

For rebuild kits AR Transmissions in Fresno cannot be beat... usually. Honest folks and fair.

Anyway buyer beware on E-Bay. If you think you spotted a good deal on transmission related stuff feel to ask me and I will try and educate you as to whether it is or not.
