Is a 92 4cyl mustang a4ld VB the same as a 94 v6 a4ld VB out of an explorer the a only diff I see is the hockey pucks and if diff can I use it in the mustang trans. My problem is that the converter is always locked no stall It acts like a manual trans when you go to stop and forget to step on the clutch, the same in reverse, have already replaced the convertor still same problem
Thanks

The 4.0L configuration has a little more pressure, and will cause you to feel a hard, firm shift in a 4 cylinder set up. It's not much of a difference though. It might go into gear faster this way. I guess you could say one is a "luxury" ride, and the other is a "sport" ride. You could use a shift kit to fine tune the shift pattern.
