A4ld wiring connectors 89 ranger Aod

Hello can some one please help me on 89 ranger a4ld trans what is the functions of all the wiring connectors on my trans.Please be specific
My poblem is no od. 1-3 shifts just fine whats my problem.

Welcome to this forum! The plug on the front driver's side is the 3 prong connector for the TCC & 3-4 shift overdrive solenoids. A lack of overdrive could be a problem with a sensor input for the PCM to command a ground signal for the overdrive solenoid to engage.
