Hey guys, while I do have a garage :D I don't have near the tools I hope to have (someday) :( I was wondering, is there anybody in the mid west (close to Columbus, Ohio) that has the capability and willingness to help me swap my torsion bars? I am willing to pay in denominations of beer for their troubles ~ Beer, its everywhere you want to be right? I'd hate to pay waaaay to much at FoMoCo to swap the torsion bars since these boys can't always seem to get them in right in new vehicles. Thanks!

jack up the truck, remove the skid plates over the back of the torsion bars, you'll need to get a 2 jaw puller to get the tension off the bolt, and use a 15mm socket I think to back the bolt out of the torsion bar cradle. Slide the old bar out, and the new one in.

Hmmm... I don't have jacks nor a jack stand, or anything bigger than 3/8" drive here in Ohio. Thats my problem. I can't justify buying alot of new tools for just 3 months (I always used dad's stuff at home).

Hows about body lifts? Anyone here that could help me with a 2" BL? Again, beer and pizza to the helper. :D
