I am considering a mild lift for my rig,and am interested in the Skyjacker 2"kit w/ the add-a-leafs mostly because of the very reasonable price and simple installation. My question is, with this kit is an allignment necessary.I had one done six months ago before I thought of doing this and was hoping to avoid it again.TIA

Yes sir... You will need to get an alignment right away or your tires will be sitting like this \ /

You can drive it like that.....just not permanently.I have been about 6 mos and have not got around to an alignment yet.No weird wear or anything else. But yes, you do need an alignment.

Yup, you will definately need an alignment. After I did my 2" I was squeaking my tires around the corners because the change in steering geometry. Also the tires lean out at the top so they need to be adjusted.

I have to get an alignment pretty regularly for some reason, dont know if it is the coils or what.

Where did you find your lift and how much did it cost? I'm looking for something like that for my 94 XLT
