I have seen a lot of mention in here about Explorer Express .com for parts and stuff. I have looked over there web site and they have some pretty neat stuff. But my problem is that I can beat there prices. I would rather order from 1 place though instead of this from them, that from the other guy.

I guess my question is, Do they do price quotes if you find the same thing cheaper somewhere else?
Who do you talk to about it?

Thanks,
HotDogs

you can give them a call or email them. the guy you want to ask for is John V. if you email them just put his name in the subject. he is a great guy and will answer any of your questions

If you order the print catalog you get a discount cupon
( or at least I did )
and that offset the better price I found on my first order.

Also I have saved lots of time and money as a result of THIS web site and EE supports this web site, so the few extra bucks comes back to you through this site.

Price is not everything. Customer service is excellent from John.

I believe EE could beat any advertised price except Ebay.

You pay for what you get. Their stuff is excellent quality. It is also gaurenteed to fit perfectly on your explorer. I bought their sway bars, and I couldn't be happier. Their prices are a little high, but their quality is unsurpassed.

i bought a grill form them a long time ago, and it was in good quality very nicely packaged too.... worked fine..... until i crashed my truck again :(

I am one of those people that would rather pay a little extra for outstanding customer service and help a small shop, than pay rock bottom for bad customer service and help the big guys out. Especially when all I am to them is a name on thier computer. John is an excellent person to work with and as mentioned above, supports this site.

Well Well Well! I must say, Yall were right. I called and talked to John V. What a nice and knowledgeable guy. I purchased the full set of Molded dash trim kit, # EWMD004KB and of course to complete the job, I got the EWWD070HMD, armrest switch surrounds to add that finished touch to it. I ordered all of this in the Burl wood. Should go nicely with my red X EB edition. After I get all of this installed, including the sterio system that is being installed right now, with approx. 2 weeks to go, at a mere costs of 3K, the inside of my X should be tight and out of sight. LOL. Some 60's lingo for you youngsters. Once I have completed the interior, with only the DVD system now to install , I will start on the outside. Some mods I know I want and will do are the Billet Grille, Clear Corners, Edelbrock Shocks, and I HAVE to get the mirrors painted to match the truck. That one is a must. I am totally confused on the factory fog lights though. Mine has the factory 899 bulb and there is not a white or blue light bulb made to replace it. ARGGG!!! I have no idea on that one. But will keep reading until something slaps me in the face and says, Hey HotDogs!! Put in the #### bulb, it will work fine in your 1998 X.

Thanks everyone,
HotDogs
