? about putting in a bw1356 in my 96 awd

I'm putting in a BW1356 in my 96 5.0 awd. its going to be offroad only with dana 60,s and 44 inch tires
the question I have is what shifting problem will I run in to with not having a VSS sensor?
i don't care about the speedometer or cruse control just want to be able to hold it in first gear.
i just rock crawl so i need 1st gear.

I need the strength. And it has fixed yokes with bigger ujoints.

Hack and tap with whatever driveshaft you want built

and I have the transfer case already and I like having the stronger case I'm hard on stuff
