Today I mounted my brush guard on the truck. It is a Manik chrome brush guard I bought from a co worker awhile back when I bought the truck. The only problem was the brackets were missing. Found out that company went under and any chance of buying them were gone. So I fabed some up, also made a way for the tow hooks to still be used. Let me know what you think! Oh and any advice on what brand I should look into for some aux lights to mount on it would be appreciated.

Looks good.

How are the tow hooks mounted; I can't really tell from the pictures. Did you weld brackets onto the brush guard?

As for lights: I like my PIAAs. I don't think I'd pay what they cost, though (they were a gift).

I was able to modify the hooks just a little to allow it to bolt to where the brackets meet the brushguard. I also got rid of the small brackets that bolt to the top of the grill, and I made new ones going from the guard to the grill and then to the radiator support. thing is sturdy as hell. im more than pleased!

That looks sick!

Check out Westin's Aux. Lights. p# 09-0505. I have two mounted on my safari bar and I'm putting two more on my roof rack. I'll try to find a picture of them...

Very nicely done! Make sure you wax it as they are notorious for showing rust if left untreated..

Pjibs, I would like to see how they look. Was looking into PIAAs, but they are soo darn expensive! Maybe ill add that to my Xmas list:P Buffalo for sure loves to use their salt. I have to disassemble and paint the brackets I made with POR15 next week along with the towhooks.

DeRocha, what would you suggest I should use on it. Just some turtle wax? Or sould I use some chrome polish?
