ABS Hub Sensor?

Just had my car looked at and they tell me I need new AntiLock hub sensors?

What is happening is, when coming to a slow stop the ABS will kick in and the car will slide before coming to a complete stop. Seems that the ABS sensors are corroded. (sp?)

Has anyone delt with this? I have a friend who is very handy, can anyone let me know if this is something we can do ourselves?

I also avoided a Tranny overhaul. Guess there was some sort of faulty plate that didn't cost much, but is a pain to put in. I bit the bullet and had them do that. Better than an overhaul I guess....

Any help would be appreciated.

Nevermind. Typical Newb, I didn't read. Did a search on the forum and I think I can do it. Doesn't seem that hard.

If you have a 4WD or AWD, you need to replace the hub assembly. Go on ebay and look up explorer hub assembly or wheel bearing. Just doing a quick search on ebay, I found these:
