ABS intake: where to buy?

Hey guys. I have been considering making an intake for my '94 and for my friends truck as well. I pretty much know what I need to do this, but have one problem. I can't find ABS pipe anywhere. I have tried 2 different Home Depots. Both said that they don't carry it. I have tried a few local home improvement stores that also said they don't carry it. Where the hell can I buy this stuff? Home Depot carries the glue and the fittings, but not the actual pipe. Should I check around at other Home Depots? Any recommendations on where to buy ABS pipe?

Your best bet will ne a Plumbing Supply store.

when i was going to make mine (i had problems fitting 3" pipe under my hood). I used PVC pipe instead of ABS since I coudln't find abs either. btw, i think i could have fit it if I would have screwed around with fan shroud. I think i'm going to put a cone filter on mine but just use the stock intake tube since from what i've heard isn't terribly restrictive. Question....what are you going to do with the vacume lines, I don't really know myself that's why i'm asking haha ?

I bought one of those aftermarket kits for $30 off ebay a while back and it had only one nipple for the vacuum line. And as we know the X has like 2 of them. One that comes off the passenger side valve cover and one from the TB somewhere. So I put the TB one on the nipple and put a crankcase filter o the valve cover nipple.

I wanted to do a custom home made one on mine, but not being ale to find the right parts and having to waste the gas running all over town looking for it made me decide to just buy the kit one off ebay. At the time I got it, no one had the one for an '01, so I bought the '02 kit, which they said would not fit right in an '01. But I didnt have any problem installing it.
