1998 explorer sport SOHC, Auto

at 20k, one of the bearings wore, axle needed to be replaced.

Now has 50k, seems like its leaking fluid from the pumpkin (maybe i didn't put the cover on right). Yesterday the ABS light turned on, and stayed on.

From a search, i came up with some explorer having theABS sensor in top of the pumpkin... where is mine located?

what does it look like? could it just be dirty and need a cleaning?

thanks

Victor

Victor,
The ABS sensor is the only thing on your diffy with wires going to it. It sits directly on top and has one bolt holding it in. I'd pull it out and see what it looks like... I havent heard of a sensor going bad though.. but who knows.
