I have a 1995 explorer and had the abs light checked and was told the driver side needs to be replaced. Someone told me that when you replace one you need to do the other because they are calibrated together.
While looking for a cheaper part I found that the driver sensor is more expensive than the passenger side. I don't believe that both need replaced.
However, I would like to know if this is true and how to replace the driver side, as well as where to fine one at a reasonable cost.
Thank you.

when the abs light comes on its usually the sensor in the rear differential.
go look at the rear differential housing and see if you have a plug in there with a electrical connector on it .if so thats the one.it will be mounted up high on the rear above the cover area.
that cured my abs light problem on my 2000
