- 1999 ford explorer sport
I have a 1999 Ford Explorer Sport, 4.0 SOHC that died on me in traffic without warning. It will crank but not start. It's getting fuel and spark. On the advice of knowledgable people, I have replaced the ignition switch , fuel filter and cam sensor. All the fuses have been tested and are fine. The latest advice is the vehicle's computer but I don't want to incur so large an expense without certainty. I have bought OBD II scanner (and used it correctly) but it showed no trouble codes. I don't know how to interpret that. Any help offered would be greatly appreciated.
