Is there one on a 1st gen? I had wet carpet on the passenger side. It's not coming from the top & dripping & a pressure hose all around & under the floorboard hasn't spotted a leak yet.

May have been a fluke, maybe I didn't have the door closed all the way in a FL downpour.

Under the dash, no, just the passenger carpet. And it's water as I have my heater core bypassed. Don't need heat in FL, but need cold AC.

Yes, there is a drain. You can see it from the outside, under the a/c box. Its really easy to see if you don't have your inner fender guard in.

If you getting "water" on the carpet you probably have a bunch of crap in the drain, especially since it is somewhat behind the tire.

Have a pic of it? Do I need to take out the fender lining to get to it? I couldn't see anything from under or above.

ah. forgot about that. havent had ac in awhile lol

this is what hes talking about. vertically down from the heater hose ports, the rubber line coming out:

ah ok, cool thanks. I'll check it after work today.

Well that's not it. But I think I found it & it's not a leak. Physics at work....
I have a heavy thick rubber floor mat. My AC is on all the time & I have it permanently set to max AC(door is tied close) That seems to be cooling the passenger floorboard. This combined with the tunnel getting hot from the cat & exhaust pipe is causing condensation which the carpet is sucking up & making it damp.

You could always remove the rear AC/heat ducts, and cap them off.

Even just using a few sheets of plastic wrap/aluminum foil in the rear duct connection will prevent the air from going that direction. It also gives the A/C and airflow a boost since it's just going to the front dash/floor vents and not the rear.

Might want to check the condition of the cat heat shields and the body heat shields above the cat and muffler too. They can rust away.
