I have read a number of posts re: ac from passenger side and none from driver's side, however, I have just the opposite. The air inlet door behind the glovebox is intact, but does not move. Should this door move when switching to max ac, heat, etc? Even if I manually move this door in or out, it does not seem to affect amount of air through vent nor temperature.

Thanks for any help you can provide...

I believe thats your blend door, not sure if it was problematic on 3rd gens, but I know it was a common problem for the 2nd gens. It wouldnt affect your air flow through the vents, but I know it has something todo with having heat coming out, or ac coming out (Wish I could be of more help, but im pulling this outta my head from a couple threads I read over a year ago :p:)

Not sure if this helps, but when I was looking for my OBDII port, I found a small diameter hose (1/2" maybe) that had disconnected from an elbow bend. I simply reconnected it and assumed it was for airflow from AC.

EDIT* I have a right hand drive and this was on my drivers side (your passenger side). Get your head down there and have a look ; )

This is a manual, not automatic, climate control system.

Thank you all for submitting some things to look for, but none so far have been the cause.
