What I have 2013 Explorer Limited with MFT dual AC dual climate controls, Heated Cooled Seats AC is properly charged with exactly 24 oz. I did an evacuation and refill. Compressor comes on, stays on all the time. Compresses properly have I think 150 or so High and 40 or so low give or take. What to me appears to be proper readings.
The problem occasionally it will not blow cold, more so on the drivers side. First noticed this after it sat for 2 weeks. Once I got to driving it cooled some on Max. Then my wife moved her side UP in temp to 72 or 74 degrees and my side got colder and hers got VERY cold. I then turned mine up to 68 degrees and it got VERY cold. Rear started getting colder too when we did this.
Today she is driving it and says pass side is cool not cold, driver side hot air. Tried shut down restart, tried turn off recirculation tried raising temps. She did not try raising just one side. I have noticed that seems to help. It almost seems like a blend door issue but no clicking. I have ForScan and am VERY familiar with it. Where should I start? Should I take a reading of the cabin temp sensor and evap temp sensor and see if they are wonky? What do you guys make of it? I could be wrong but I REALLY don't think my expansion valves are bad. They don't seem clogged I am not getting extreme pressures on high side and nothing on low that would indicate a stopped up expansion valve Anyone got experience with this? Will ForScan show me detected temps from the 2 different temp sensors? I am up to the latest MFT Sync version.
