Ac issues

Hey there, so as the title says im having a bit of trouble with my ac system on a 2000 5.0 , the clutch will not engage no matter what i do, i jumped the high pressure sensor and it does nothing

My low side sensor is there but the harness is gone and i dont know where i should wire a new one

The clutch engages when i jump it with the battery so i know it works

What should i do? Or just give up? Seems overly complicated for me, any tips would be appreciated

This what you know.
Do not run the engine for this test.
The clutch works. Pull the clutch connector and connect a test light.
1.Turn on the AC
2. Disconnect the low pressure switch connector and jump the connector terminals. ( switch normally open pressure closes it)
2a. Does the clutch light, light?
If yes, you are low on freon. You can double check it. By taking a volt meter, setting to resistance and checking the switch.
Is it open ( low pressure in system or bad switch) or closed ( switch good or system had minimum pressure).
3. the high pressure, is normally closed, opens on high head.
To check the high switch pressure switch. Disconnect the connector and jump the connector terminals. ( switch normally closed pressure opens it).
Does test light, light?

I'd look around (the engine bay) to see what happened there, where /why the wires and connector aren't present. Maybe these attachments will help.
