I am a female, so if some of this doesn't make sense, it is because I am relaying what my cousin-in-law has told me and I am totally clueless as to what he is referring to. lol
My AC doesn't work. Several months ago, I went over a bad bump in the road. It blew out my radio/cd player and the AC quit working.
My cousin in law checked everything out and charged with freon. Everything works just fine when he hot-wired it to the battery. He thought that it must be electrical. So he checked that and replaced that fuse. He says that for some reason the sensor is not turning the compressor on and he could not figure out why.
Any suggestions??? (It sure is hot here in Georgia without any AC in my vehicle!)
Thanks!
Gayle

I'd need more info. I'd recommend taking it to a shop and having it looked at. You can throw parts at it, bypass switches, shotgun it with R134, etc but in the end it's best having it looked at by a a/c tech.

Could you have possibly damaged a hose and lost all R134?
