AC problem only in park

When I have my vehicle in park my ac compressor cuts on and off every five seconds and bogs the motor down. When I hooked up the pressure gauge to my ac to charge it the pressure is very high in park but normal when the vehicle is in drive. I cannot figure out why the pressure would jump up when the vehcile is in park. Thanks for the help by the way 97 explorer sport sohc

It's not the A/C. Problem lies with your IAC valve if engine is bogging at idle. Try cleaning it. Search for IAC for lots more info on how to clean.
