Ac problem

Hi, I have a 2010 Ford explore I need to know the location for the forward expansion valve? My car has forward and rear AC. I know where the rear one is but I’m not quite sure where the forward one is located and what it looks like.

It is called orifice tube or so.located inside the a/c tubing,close to the front heater coolant oulet/inlet and the PCM.you will need an a special extractor or extra pliers skills to get em out if the a/c tube.

Usually,the orifice tube should be replaced only if the system was contaminated (compressor or other major components failed).otherwise,no reason to replace.
