Hello, i have a 99 Explorer sport 4.0L v6...everything is stock. Just starting about a week ago i have had some problems with it. Around 30-40 Mph when i would give it some acceleration it would hesitate, to where i would be pushing down the peddle and nothing would be happening for about 5 seconds, and then it would kick in and the check engine light would go on. I did get gas the other day from a shell and they were reported to have bad gas in their system (haha). I was thinking it could be the o2 sensor? We did a scan on it, which came up saying Cylinders 4-5-6 were not firing correctly...if any one can help me on this that would be great!

thanks

check your fuel filter...might be time to replace. That happened to me when filter got clogged...maybe by bad gas
