I got hit pretty hard in the right front end tire was pushed against upper control arm. Knuckle was cracked at top. Know tie rods don't line up to same position for tires. Outer tie rod looks ok. Is possibly damage to the steering rack ??

Don't take chances. Replace everything, not just what's broken. If the steering arm was cracked as you say there may be damage or distortion to the lower control arm, too. Replace the steering arm/spindle assembly (obviously).

Get all new.....
upper and lower control arms with bushings and ball joints already installed

shocks

outer tie rods

Swaybar end links (make sure the swaybar isn't bent)

inner tie rods

Steering rack shouldn't be an issue if it's not already leaking.

You may or may not *need* to replace everything, but it is recommended you do both sides for equal life and wear of the front suspension. I'd definitely do that instead of fixing only what's broken to avoid having to tear stuff apart again too soon for servicing/replacing.

Everything is attached to chassis, if that is distorted what you replace will make no difference, you may have a crab. Take it to a dealer for specialist alignment

Thanks guys . I'm trying to do work myself to keep cost low . I have about 220 k on this. Starting to think may not be worth it seeing how I have limited knowledge and experience with auto mechanics. I do have couple of buds that may help. Thanks for input.
