Accuracy of the STA's Speedo

Discovered the STA's speedo is "bang on" with my new Garmin GPS... I'm impressed.

However, I was disappointed to find out my Acura TL has a 3% error factor... it was reading 103 kph while the GPS was 100 kph. :thumbdwn:

The accuracy usually depends on the speed your traveling also, you're speedometer may be very inaccurate as you begin to go well over the speed limit.

3% is good.. Federal guidelines restrict the speedometer to be accurate within 5%.
