Adding DVD to JBL system

Hello folks - I know this is probably covered in this forum somewhere; I didn't see it - I am trying to add an in-dash LCD/DVD to my 97 Explorer, EB - I love my JBL system and don't want to lose it - Circuit City says they have a harness that will incorporate the JBL with a Pioneer 2 din LCD. I was told I'd lose my 6 disk changer.

Does anyone have an indash solution that uses the JBL stock system? Is there a better (and economical) way to does this? do I need a better or different changer?? Must I replace the whole thing? Help!!!

I was afraid of that - do they even make a LCD unit with changer control - or I guess I COULD get one with FM Modulator ...sigh ...
