?: Adding Power Seats

Has anyone added power seats (from an EB X or something) to an Explorer that did not come with power seats in an early model, 91-94? Where do you tie into the wiring harness? I notcied there is a location for it in the fuse box. Is there any wiring in there? How much of the harness do I need from the donor vehicle?

Yes you can swap the seats, although the probably won't be bolt on. The wiring will not be there, regardless, it only takes two wires to hook it up. (12v+/ground) The front floor bolts might not match up. Go ahead and do it if you have the opprutunity.

I put EB pwr seats from a 94 explorer in to my 91 X. The front bolting locations did not match. The tracks on the pwr seats can not be removed. So I just drilled new holes to mount the front bolts.
