This is all easy-to-do stuff. Don't pay a dealership any labor costs. The alt. is way over priced and the rest is probably about right for the price but you can miss and match things to come out cheeper at AutoZone or Advanced. The flush will take less than hour (plus waiting for the engine to cool down). The sparks will take an hour for four and the last two are a pain (passanger's side). I paid someone to do because mine where so stuck. The alt. isn't bad and you can get a high performance for less than the price they are charging. The intake may take more work but can be done. I believe the top of the motor needs to be torn down to get to it (I may be wrong).

The intake manifold gaskits have to be tigtened down in a certain way, starting at the middle and swirling outward to ensure no distortion and excessive pressure. On the shoc the manifold is plastic. This is a job I did on mine not so long ago as part of the dreaded 00m12 timing chain tensioner job. The rest is easy to do at home so please get the parts, search the threads here and do it in a logical and planned way, start with the plugs, then fire up the car and you know thats working go on to the manifold gaskits, then the rest one by one........checking for running after each job. You cant go wrong that way and will have the satisfaction of knowing the Fraud have not turned you over for cash for the gibbons to have a lame attempt at your car!

get a haynes manual from autozone.

It shows you exactly how to change everything step by step.

Super easy to understand.

All dealerships are not the same; some have great techs and others, well, not so much. Personally, if I was a dealership tech and I didn't perform the work, I wouldn't trust that the work was done properly. I have never had intake gaskets go bad, but I guess anything is possible!?!?! It sounds like you need to find another tech or another dealership since you still have problems and they are chasing their tail. Good luck chasing down that leak-if one even exists...

PS. I would be interested in what the TPS and MAF readings were and are now. Sounds like a simple air/fueling issue to me.
