Hoping to get some help regarding the Ford ESP, as I’m trying to decide if I’m going to buy it for my new ST. The idea sounded attractive at first, since there’s a lot of fancy components that can fail, but the closer I look at the coverage I’m not sure it’s as thorough as I thought. As an example, I didn’t see the heated/ventilated/massage seats listed. But maybe I’m looking in the wrong spot.

In general, is it close enough to bumper to bumper coverage to be worth it, or are there a lot of components/features missing?

Also, I’ve seen mention something about benefits for the key, but I didn’t see that in the brochure. Can anyone elaborate what that is?

Thanks for any help!

I think if you get premiumcare it is as close to the original bumper to bumper you can get. I would also recommend Flood Ford, cheapest price I've found.

When I was almost at checkout, there's a page that gives you additional warranty choices:
-First Day Rental
-Enchanced Rental
-Lighting - I assume it is for the LED Headlights
-Key Services - I think this is what you're talking about.

Hope this helps.

Many members have bought their ESP from Joel and have had many positive things to say about the experience. As to whether or not to buy one, that is up to you. Your vehicle may be problem free for years or like some here, have issues from the beginning. Those are covered by the factory warranty but after that runs out, you're on your own. Keep in mind the if you get for example a 4 year ESP, it really only extends the factory warranty by a year. It isn't added to the current warranty.
