Advice?

Hey Guys, I am getting ready to install a roof rack on my 91' so I can put a basket on it, I am going to do it by drilling into the roof about an inch or inch and a half, then silicone around the screws, I am either going to use rivited screws or the yakima plus nut. Any advice? Thanks

What about these? Obviously you can choose another size to match the screws you're going to use, but those are close to the factory ones...

Welcome to this forum! Use rubber washers under the screws like the type they use for roofing screws.
