Hi all,

My name is sprhnl. I purchased a 93 Aerostar that looked really cherry on eBay. Turns out I was scammed for 2600 by someone who had all the great feedback, etc.

So my poor little 3.0 litre, automatic, short body with only 113,000 miles has in the course of less than 500 miles had the black death, oil pan full of rust holes, front brakes seized, cruise inop, bad battery, water leak in the side window frame, and a loose shifter on the column.

So my car needs tlc. I did put a new set of black walls on it and I ditched the stock wheel covers for a set of retro moons. Changed the whole look of the vehicle. She is cute now.

Fixed the rust on the pan with jb-weld. Need some in depth guidance with the air problem.

I use this little cutie as my rolling tool box as we downsized to a townhome and I lost my workshop. Hope this says a bit about me, my van, and the fact that you just can't let the bad folks bring you down.

Welcome to this forum! Let's see the new wheels. I would recommend that you replace the oil pan. Patching is good for short term use. Never use sealant with rubber pan gaskets.
