My 2012 Ex turns one in October and on a long 3 hour drive home yesterday I had the pleasure of experiencing two of the dreaded issues mentioned on this board and that up until then I had thought myself lucky to have avoided:
1) The dreaded A-Pillar bee buzz
- Yes it took almost a year to show up but now I know why everyone who had this was so upset. It really is very distracting and annoying.
2) Overheating.
-There was a 25 minute wait to clear customs, and my engine temperature hit peak. The warning light about engine coolant came on but as soon as I started driving again it went back to normal.
I've had the last reprogram for the fans done over 2 months ago -- I wonder if the new MFT version negated that?
I have an appointment this a.m. for other issues and will bring these up as well but based on my past experience the dealer will ignore these issues too.
