After you clear the codes how long until all the test are complete?

1998 XLT 4WD SOHC. I figured out an issue and then cleared out the codes to make sure that the issue did not return. I looks like all of the test have reset with the exception of what looks to be the O2 test. How many engine starts or miles or whatever should it take for all of the self test to complete?

There is no set number of miles or starts. There is a specific drive cycle protocol you must follow. It is in your owners manual and on the internet since 1996!

Setting the check engine light may take two or three drive cycles, first pending codes are set.
