Hey I was wondering if anybody knew what the best brand if any, body mount bushings get. Mine are all kinda of starting to **** the bed and really need replacing. Any leads would be appreciated, thanks👍

It looks like you can still get OEM parts for these. Here is a link for Dorman parts to get started: 2004 FORD EXPLORER 4.0L V6 Body Mount | RockAuto

I assumed you have a 4.0L engine although the engine type probably is irrelevant for this type of part.

if they make em, wonder if there are poly ones available? for froadin i like rubbers cause they flex slightly, and the 2G has a flexy frame with rigid body, but on road i like polys. those may be worth a look if theyre available! that being said: i have noticed with suspension work and engine work etc etc, that rubbers made in certain places appear to not hold up as long as US made ones.

I don't ever recall a 3rd or 4th gen having body mount issues here. I'm not saying it hasn't happened but it is very rare at the least. I was somewhat surprised at how pricey a full set of them run.

Yeah they are pretty pricy, I just need to replace my front two because they are falling apart and seem unsafe.

While Dorman parts are less expensive they are hit and miss regarding quality with a high probability of them being a "miss". On a part like this they might be worth taking a chance on.
