I just got a 2011 explorer and i love the truck but I’m not a fan of that orange eyebrow on top of the headlights is there a good aftermarket plug and play or would i have to get custom headlights

"Orange eyebrow"?:dunno: Are you referring to the amber parking/turn signal lights?

Remember changing bulb colors is not legal and obnoxious to other drivers. Not sure of.your intent but just mention it anyways. Sorry to be a killjoy.

do you know how to replace the amber lens and replace it with a clear one, or would i have to just tint it?

Dillon
I don't and I don't believe I've read about anyone else doing it either.

Not a fan of the orange “eyebrows” or turn signal reflectors either. Kinda gives it a Groucho Marx look lol. I wish they did it more like the 2nd gen Explorers. There are some eBay housings with clear reflectors but I hear the light output is worse than stock. There is one guy in the picture thread Benny18 who opened up his housings and put led strips in the top. Looks awesome. 5th Gen Explorer Photo Thread

I’ve been thinking more about signal tint strips like this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013TC2YK4/?tag=serious-20. Not sure if that’s the way I want to go. Not a big priority for me at this time
