I am trying to install my two 12" subwoofers and amp into my 2003 Explorer Sport 4x2 XLT.
It has factory:
6-disc CD changer
Subwoofer in back right quarter panel
My question:
I would like to keep the current 6disc changer and use it in conjuction with my new amp and subs, but would like to know if it has pre-outs for an amplifier. I assume since it came with a sub and amp that it does. But I pulled the radio out and the only presence of preouts that I saw was one thick orange cord coming out from the back right of it, and I think that was the antennae.
Where are the preouts? Where is the amp for the sub? I tried to pull off the speaker paneling in the back but cannot get it off to investigate.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Mike
