2003 Mountaineer, the last couple of mornings when the vehicle is first started all the lights and chimes on the dash go throught there normal routine.
Then the air bag light comes back on it glows kinda dim (almost a flicker) for about 30 seconds or so. Or if you turn the blower fan on it will go out Immediatley.
Let me also add it has been pretty chilly on the 3 mornings it has done this.
(18-30 degreees each morning) Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks for any input...

Welcome to this forum! Count the flashes of the air bag light. It represents a stored code. WWW.Veryuseful.Com has a list of SRS codes. Check, and clean the connectors under the front 2 seats. A dirt build up will cause a code to get displayed in some cases. It is either a white, or yellow colored plug. The resistor is usually in a round yellow enclosure. One of them will have a resistor module, and the other one will be an open plug. The resistor is between 6.9-7.1 Ohms.

mine does the same thing but it does not blink, just glows dimly for a few minutes, and you're right mrv568, its only when it is really cold out

Has anyone found any resolution on this problem? What is the resistance value supposed to be in the plug?
