Air bag Light, the code changed

Gday guys and girls well like the title say's,
Air bag Light, the code changed, The airbag light has been on for the last 2 months but I have just been ignoring it but now I think the flash code has changed.

When I start the car the light comes on like it normally dose then goes out, it then flashes in this sequence

Flashers 2 times
Goes out
Flashers 4 times
Goes out
Flashers 2 times
Goes out
Flashers 4 times
Goes out

It repeats this 10 times then the light stay's on.

Dose this point to anything in particular in the system or not?

I originally thought it was my clock sprig as the lights on my cruise control buttons had gone out, but now they have come back on and have been functioning for the last 2 weeks. The horn also stoped working but the battery boiled and leaked acid all over the horn so I think this might be the why the horn isn’t working, and now I am not sure it is the clock spring that is the problem.

It’s a 98 XLT

above is some good information, but it's also good to hook up a scan tool and get the actual codes. They should be U prefix codes (most air bag/restraint system codes are).
