Air bag light

In my 98 XLT the air bag light is flashing. It flashes twice, stops for about 5 seconds, then flashes 4 times. Then it will do it all over again in about 10 seconds. But if the X runs for a few minutes.....I can turn it off, restart the vehicle, and the light doesn't come back on. Any ideas?

there is a known issue on the connector under the passenger seat....do a search - there is a couple of threads discussing it....

Yeah....I read some of those. It looked like it was 99 and up though. I looked for the yellow connector under my seats.....not there.
